Alumnae

They arrived by rail, coach and steamer…then later by airplane, bus and automobile. They embarked from near and far to reach the destination: Wyonegonic…summer camp in the pristine woods of western Maine. How ever they traveled throughout the years, Wyonegonic campers and counselors shared much in common: an eagerness to shed their “everyday clothes” and settle in at camp in distinctive green and white.

Excerpt from Wyonegonic: The First 100 Years.

We encourage alumnae to come for a summer visit and stroll through camp to trigger their Moose Pond memories. Visitors are welcome for buffet lunch during the camp season and enjoy a stop at the Wyonegonic Museum. Alums are also welcome to attend our winter gatherings and reunions. Some alumnae return with their family for Family Camp which occurs in mid-August, after the camper season.

Winter Gatherings
Please be sure to check the Wyonegonic Calendar for upcoming dates and locations near you. We will be traveling from November through February and would love to see you.

Camper or Staff Leads
As a Wyonegonic Alumnae you are our most important ambassadors. If you know of families seeking a camp experience or know of great staff candidates, please have them contact the Wyonegonic Office. Thank you for helping to spread the word about the magic of Wyonegonic!
