Thank you for your interest in employment at Wyonegonic Camps.  We hope that you have learned a great deal about us by browsing the website and watching the staff video. Staff applicants must be at least 18 years old. Certain specialized positions require a minimum age of 21 years old.

It is understood that persons who apply are in good health and are free from limitations which would interfere with active outdoor living.

Wyonegonic staff are responsible for the welfare of children.  Applicants must be willing to be a positive role model for children in appearance and behavior.

We are a non-smoking and substance free facility and we expect all staff to adhere to this policy at all times.

Wyonegonic is required to perform a criminal background check on all staff who have been offered a position.

Wyonegonic will provide opportunities for necessary certifications. These certification trainings begin in early June at Wyonegonic and culminate before your due date at our Pre-camp Orientation.

Starting Salaries for New Unit and Counselor Staff at Wyonegonic Camps

*College Years or equivalent gap year, program or work experience.

Staff Dates 2024:

Staff Dates 2024 are June 19th arrival – August 14th departure.

The salaries listed are for the full summer contract period (dates listed above). Dates include staff orientation.  International Staff, Support Staff and those enrolled in additional certification courses may be asked to arrive earlier. 

Staff departure date options will start August 14th which is inclusive of end of summer wrap up for units and activities, staff feedback sessions and celebrations!  Additional work will  be available for certain positions for Family Camp August 15-25 and for pre and post-season maintenance. Pay for such is beyond the chart provided.  Please inquire with any questions.
